Nelson Mandela a Terrorist
Who could believe that Nelson Mandela was classified as a terrorist by the US State Department "for his support of armed confrontation with aparthied" (Arabnews, 24 March 2009, Gwynne Dyer).
I was really shocked to read that the US once listed Mandela as a terrorist. But it was really an eye openning for me to see how the USA is sometimes blindly prejudiced and biased. For example, look at Hezbollah as an armed resistance group formed after the Isreali invasion of Lebanon in 1982. Hezbollah was mainly founded to oust the invaders of their country. Yet, they are defined as a terrorist organization.
One should be really careful when reading or hearing US statemen denouncing or libeling others. They might be just lying as they did in the past classifying Mandela a "terrorist". American citizens as well as the rest of the world should have an independent and investigative mind. They should not believe everything that the government says.
